With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Elks Davis of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Sheriff Ottis Ellsworth "Red" Davis; her son Glenn Eugene Davis; and her siblings, William Edward Elks, Alvin Leroy Elks, Freddie Lee Elks, Jo Anne Hodges and Betty Lou Cutler.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Davis of Greenville, James Laverne "Jimmy" Davis (Leisa) of Washington, Dee Anna Davis (Linwood Weeks) of Rocky Mount and Galen Derik Davis of Edenton; her siblings, David Elks of Cary, Linda Tetterton of Washington and Marlene Ingalls of Canton, GA; her grandchildren, Stacey Davis (Joey Clark) of Fairfield, Jamie Lauren Davis of Fairfield, Ryan Hunter Davis (Tori) of Washington and Riley Chase Davis (Rachel Vann) of Washington; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Shea Davis and Waylon Chase Davis.
