She was predeceased by: her parents, Zack King and Effie King; and her husband Jesse Mason Joyner. She is survived by: her siblings, Vernon, Clilfton King, Marie Matus, Viola Hall, Ruby Lee Griffin and Myrtle Bass; her sons, Danny (Leila) of Greensboro, NC and Alex Joyner of Pleasant Garden, NC; her sisters, Lois Jean Hudnell (Howard) and Mavis Armstrong (Charlie) of Rocky Mount, NC; her granddaughter Tamara Lillis (Brian) of High Point, NC; and her great grandchildren, Luke and Kristin.
