It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dreama Gardner of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Patricia Joyner; her brothers, Clyde Bratton, Jr. and William Bratton; and her grandsons, Kelly Waldrop, Jr. and Byron Bales, III.
She is survived by: her husband Ben Gardner; her daughters, Charlene Reams of Rocky Mount, Karen Mckinney of Rocky Mount, Lynne Bryant (Bobby) of Rocky Mount and Dina Leonard (Spencer) of Tarboro; her sister Joyce Bratton Pendergrast (Ken) of Mooresville, NC; and her close friends, Chris, Angela Hicks, Jamie and Cathy Anderson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and their spouses, thirty-three great-grandchildren and their spouses; two great-great grandsons; and her first great-great granddaughter.
