Dora Ann Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2023, at the age of 79, Dora Ann Jones (Rocky Mount, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Duck" Jones III; her brothers, Donald Gay and Richard Gay; and her nephew Jeffrey Gay. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jones Black (Troy Black) and Ivey Jones; her grandsons, Jordan Compton of Rocky Mount, NC. and Joshua Parrisher of Rocky Mount, NC.; her niece Lisa Gay Casteen of Dover, NC.; and her pet Reggie. She is also survived by mother, and very devoted "Nanny" to her two grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ann's memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
