She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Brown and Dorothy Rae Taylor Brown. She is survived by: her husband Jake; her children, Shannon Tippette Newcomb (Lee) and Jake "Jay" Tippette (Patrice); her granddaughter Mattie Tippette; her stepgrandchildren, Thomas Charles Newcomb and Samantha Newcomb; and her sister Ruth Grant. She is also survived by her family and friends.
