She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Rose and Lilly Mae Wallace Rose; her husband Jesse; and her brothers, Robert and Donald Rose.

She is survived by: her children, Darlene Patterson (Jim) of Whitakers, NC, Lynn Burnette of Yorktown, VA and Robert Calhoun of Archer Lodge, NC; her sisters, Jessie Dean Taylor of Rocky Mount, NC and Portia Daisy of Rocky Mount, NC; her grandchildren, Jamie Patterson, Tammy Armstrong, Christy Brown, Tracy Clark, Stacy Dunbar and Justin Calhoun; and her great grandchild Connor Armstrong. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
