She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Elijah Tippette, Sr. and Vallie Ruth Duke Tippette; her son Robbie Lynn Freeman; and her siblings, Johnnie Elijah Tippette, Jr., McDonald Tippette, Joseph Rabon Tippette and Dorothy Lucille Tippette Adams.
She is survived by: her brother Bobby Lee Tippette (Betty) of Raleigh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
