She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Ray of Nashville, Thomas Ray (Sandra) of Tarboro, Randy Ray (Ann) of Hinesville, GA and Kenneth Ray (Pauline) of Check, VA; her siblings, Peggy Sue Batchelor (Alton) of Red Oak and George Nichols (Mary) of Rocky Mount; and her close friend Julie Marshall. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and her four great great-grandchildren.
