With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Braswell of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ransom and Ruth Hawley Hinton; her husband Charlie Braswell, Jr.; her siblings, Jay Hinton, Jesse Hinton, Kathleen Fuller and Joyce Rhodes; and her pet Harley.
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Braswell (Louann) of Rocky Mount and Gregory Braswell of Rocky Mount; her sister Barbara Nell Joyner of Pinetops; her grandchildren, Jamie Braswell and Cameron Braswell (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Isabella "Shorty" Braswell, Lily Harris, Elliot Braswell and Henry Braswell; her close friends, James Brown and Lois Avery; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
