He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Joyner and Pattie Winstead Joyner; his wife Linda Taylor Joyner; his siblings, Eloise Lucas, Gorham Lee Joyner and James Joyner; his brother-in-law Leslie Taylor; his grandsons, Daniel Robert Atlas Joyner and Nicholas Austin Snow; and his nephew Ronnie Crocker.
He is survived by: his children, Faye Snow (Joe), Kimberly Parks, Kelvin Joyner and Michael Joyner; his sister Ellen Crocker (Donnie); his aunt Donna Deans; his nephew Greg Joyner (Denise); his niece Sherry Winstead (Kim); and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Marlow, Ann Marlow, Ellen Davis, Marsha Jones, Linwood Taylor (Cornelia) and Russell Taylor (Lisa). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
