He is survived by: his wife Debbie Garris; his sons, Roderick Garris of Rocky Mount and Derrick Garris (Reava) of Rocky Mount; his brothers, Wayne Garris (Wendy Woodruff) of Sharpsburg and Kenny Garris of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Chloe Garris of Rocky Mount, Lydia of Rocky Mount, Vanna of Rocky Mount, Cooper of Rocky Mount, Hannah of Rocky Mount, Hunter of Rocky Mount, Heyden of Rocky Mount and Brysen of Rocky Mount; and his nieces, Laura Garris, Danielle Madigan (Jeff), Shawn Porter (Gene) and Jamie Boyd (Larry).
