He is survived by: his wife Rilla Smith; his children, Jennifer Davis (Jeff) of Macclesfield and James "Corey" Smith (Natasha) of Apex; his sister Barbara Wooten (Woody) of South Carolina; his pet Callie; his grandchildren, Carla Davis (Nic Gold), Shelly Davis and Faith Davis; his great grandchild Wyatt Gold; and his friend Glenn Proctor. He is also survived by several nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
