With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Cook Sr. (Rockwell, North Carolina), who passed away on June 4, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thurman Cook and Myrtle Russell Cook; his wife Oveda Cook; and his siblings, Bruce Cook, Margie Eudy and Lucy Trail.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Glenn Cook Jr. (Jennifer) and Vickie Miller (Wendle); and his stepsons, Donny Kemp and Barry Kemp. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
