Scott Densmore Ritchey Obituary
Scott Densmore Ritchey passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 51. He passed away unexpectedly in Puerto Rico where he was currently stationed with the Customs and Border Patrol.
Scott served honorably in the United States Army, achieving the rank of CW4. He had over 30 years of service with awards including The Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal and numerous other great achievements in his military career. He fought for his country in multiple deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division as a Blackhawk pilot. After the military Scott flew for AirEvac and in 2007 he began his career with CBP. Scott was the Deputy Director of Air Operations at the Caribbean Air and Marine Branch in Puerto Rico at the time of his death.
Scott was a force of nature and his family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he proudly and often mentioned. Scott's love was unconditional for his family. He was the most loving father and grandfather anyone could ask for.
He is survived by his daughters, Krystina and Samantha; grandson, Andrew; mother of his children, Heather; half sister, Melissa; and also numerous friends who were his extended family.

Scott will be laid to rest 2:00 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021, in the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Boulevard, Salisbury, NC 28144.
