It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Jane Grooms of Rockwell, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rowland Goodale and Loffie Williams Goodale; and her siblings, Arthur Goodale and Mary Aline Bumgardner. She is survived by: her daughter Sherry G. Furr (Randy); her grandchildren, Jerry W. Barnhardt, Christopher Lee Bivens, Jason, Shannon Sawyer, Mitchell, Timmie, Melissa Jackson, Traci Brock and Ashley Tyson; and her great grandchild Brittany Jackson.
