He was predeceased by: his parents, Carr A. Peeler, Sr. and Willie Mae Peeler (Bill) of Granite Quarry; his wife Mary Belle Peeler; his son David Rushing; and his brothers, Carr A. Peeler, Jr. of Salisbury and John Peeler of Rockwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patsy Johnson (Jay) and Denise Vickrey (Jim) of Salisbury; and his siblings, David Peeler of High Point, Robert Peeler (Bob) of Rockwell and Vivian Vess of Rockwell. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
