She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Franklin Leonard and Daisy Mae Marze Leonard; her husband Everette Lowery; her daughter Deborah Lowery; and her brother Joel Audrey Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughter Melba Joyce Faulkenberry Mull; and her grandchildren, Samantha Faulkenberry, Matthew Faulkenberry and James Hinson. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great- grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Long Pine United Methodist Church Cemetery (1225 Long Pine Church Rd, Peachland, NC 28133).
