She was predeceased by: her father Hallman Craig; and her husband John William Russell. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Bailey (Gary "Chubby"), Helen Clay and Karen Leazer (Jerry); her siblings, Conway Thomas (Marty), Larry Thomas and Sandra Faulkner; her grandchildren, Jessica Hathcock, Clinton Lesley, Kristina Kee (Chris), Jonathan Lang (Johanna) and John Clay; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Kylie, Jonah, McKinley and Carson; and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Russell (Flossie), Kenneth Russell (Laraine) and Doris Russell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
