She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy File and Inez File; her siblings, Vickie Culp, Elana File and Ray File; her former husband William Freeman; her husband Ben Patterson; and her son David Freeman.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Patterson (Donna) of Rockwell; her daughter-in-law Rose Freeman of Rockwell; her stepchildren, Raymond "Bo" Patterson (Neena) of Jefferson City, TN, Terry Patterson of Tyro, NC, David Patterson of Greenville, SC and Linda Prince of Tyro, NC; and her siblings, Linda Kepley of Rockwell and Charles File of Rockwell. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
