He was predeceased by: his mother M. C. Burnside; and his siblings, Glinnie Burnside, Luvernia Burnside Ford, Ernestine Burnside Ayers and Thomas Burnside.
He is survived by: his brother Edward Burnside of Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, and friends.
