He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Simmons and Viola Morris Simmons; and his brother Timmy Simmons (Crystal Simmons). He is survived by: his children, Carrie Abruzzo (Jim) of China Grove, Austin Simmons of Rockwell and Miranda Javis (Brandon) of Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Heaven, Christian, Enoch Javis and Jackson Simmons.
