It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lee Johnson of Rockwell, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Johnson and Mildred Aycoth Johnson; his sister Joyce Hooper; and his nephew David Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Janice Steele Johnson; his son Mark Lee Johnson (Nikki); his siblings, Debbie Paxton (Danny) of Concord and Larry Johnson (Vickie) of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Camron Johnson, Hunter Cates, Isabella and Brennan Johnson; and his niece Tracey Wilkins (Shannon). He is also survived by nieces, great nieces and extended family.
