He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Absher and Bessie Teague Absher. He is survived by: his wife Joy Fox Absher; his children, Sally Absher Hawkins (Dean) of Bentonville, AR. and Charles Alfred Absher; his grandchildren, Brittany Hawkins of Bentonville, AR. and Hunter Hawkins (Whitney); his brothers, Alton Absher (Lou) of Wilson, NC and James Absher (Nancy) of Broken Bow; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Wilkinson (Lester) of Mooresville and Mick Fox of China Grove.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Jackson Park Baptist Church, 1005 Jackson St, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
