We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 83, Harold Wayne Cooke Sr. (Rockwell, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Harold Wayne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Harold Wayne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Cooke and Vera Cooke; his wife Bonnie; and his brother Jim Cooke (Trish) of Winston-Salem, NC. He is survived by: his children, Julie Cooke of Sullivan's Island, SC, Harold Cooke, Jr. (Erica) of Winston-Salem, NC, Melissa Martino, Jr. (Pedro) of Greenville, SC, Katherine Lennon of Columbus, OH, Amy Combs (Bubkhar) of Winston-Salem and Emily Johnson of Eleuthera; and his brother Carroll Cooke (Brenda) of Rockwell, NC.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
