He was predeceased by: his father Ray Gilbert Deal; his former wife Annebelle Ward Deal; and his sons, Ray, Keith and Winiford Deal.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Haynes Deal; his daughter Wanda Deal of Southmont; and his sister Barbara Chesson of Lexington. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
