He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Maryann Gorman. He is survived by: his parents, Charles "Bill" Earnhardt and Joy Evans Earnhardt; his sister Lisa Trexler (Ty); his nieces, Heather Reynolds (Jerry) and Victoria Trexler; his great-nephew Jack Reynolds; his cousin Kevin Evans; and his friend David Halpin.
