He is survived by: his parents, Donald Wayne and Shelia Sloop Smith of Rockwell, NC.; his son Devin Smith (Cristin); his grandchildren, Dot Waverly and James Cameron of Rockwell; his son Spencer Ingraham of Salisbury; his siblings, Matthew (Jenny) of Salisbury, Kevin Smith of Salisbury and Kimberly Johnson (Greg) of Rockwell; his nephew William Johnson (Lyndsay); his nephew Gage Bentley Smith of Salisbury; his niece Lauren Amelia Smith (Jason) of Greenville, NC.; his aunts and uncles, Patsy Smith, Bonnie Childers (James), Doug Sloop (Brenda), Jimmy Sloop (Nancy) and Jeffrey Sloop; and also Miller Ann of Faith. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trading Ford Baptist Church, 3600 Long Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
