It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Holshouser of Rockwell, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Body Holshouser and Elizabeth Holshouser of Virginia; and his siblings, Bernard Holshouser, Kenneth Holshouser, Charles Holshouser, Larry Holshouser and Peggy Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Holshouser of Rockwell; his sons, Donald Todd Holshouser (Rose) of Hartselle, AL and Keith Monroe Welch (Jamie) of Rockwell; his granddaughters, Hailey Holshouser, Ashley Holshouser, Amber Holshouser and Katie Welch; and his siblings, Michael "Mickey" Holshouser (Donna) of Oak Island, Sandra Taylor (Ron) of Marietta, OH, Judy Livengood of Salisbury and Joyce Ketchie (Dale) of Granite Quarry.
