He is survived by: his wife Connie Kluttz Holshouser; his children, Travis Holshouser of Raleigh and Amy Holshouser Powell (Shawn) of Concord; his grandchildren, Anna Scott Holshouser, Emmie Holshouser, Ella Powell, Baxley Holshouser, Gavin Powell and Parker Powell; and his cousins, David Shue and Tim Shue.
