He was predeceased by: his parents, David Homer and Agnes Cress Corl of Rockwell; his wife Sarah Ann Hammill Corl; and his siblings, Gilmer, Houston, Bill, Gene, Dewitt, Dorothy, Katherine, Ruby, Edna and Penny.
He is survived by: his son Joe Corl of Rockwell; his grandchildren, Dustin Corl (Tanisha) of Rockwell and Meredith Bowles (Michael) of Salisbury; his great grandchildren, Mattie Pope and Anthony Grimes; and his sisters, Alice Myers of Salisbury and Ann Beaver of Winchester, VA..
