He was predeceased by: his parents, Berchie Matney and Arthur Jr. Stacy; his former wife Judith Hibbitts Stacy; his brother Kenneth Stacy; his sons, Gregory Allen Stacy and Timothy Curtis Stacy; and his grandson Timothy Curtis "T. C." Stacy II.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mickey Byrd; his children, Anita Tharlene Stacy Parton (Gary Parton), Cynthia Lynn Stacy Earls (Rickey VanDyke), Shannon Mickey of Salisbury, NC, William (Angie Mickey), Toby (Robin Mickey), Christine (James Hinson) and April (David Burris); and his grandchildren, Tanya Stacy Quesenberry, Ryan Parton, Michael Parton, Tristan Earls, Meagan Earls, Carmen Earls, Ian VanDyke, Billy Mickey, Brad Stamper, Brittany Miller, Haley Whitten, Seth Mickey, Daniel Beaver and Darren Mickey.
