She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Victor Scott and Ruth Elizabeth Pethel Scott; and her sister Novella Margaret Scott Leonard. She is survived by: her nephews, Jerry Lee Scott, James Leon Leonard, Ricky Lee Leonard and Christopher Ray Leonard.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the West Lawn Memorial Park.
