It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Beaver Funderburk of Rockwell, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Beaver; her husband Junior B. Funderburk; and her siblings, Carl Beaver, Jim Beaver, Faye Torrence, Belle Kluttz and Pearl Hampton.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Funderburk (Lee) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Joe Funderburk (Teresa) of Salisbury, NC, Earl Funderburk (Becky) of Rockwell, NC and Susie Johnson (Ken) of Rockwell, NC; her grandchildren, Ronny Funderburk, Kristy Davis, Sara Stover, Jacob Funderburk, Nathan Funderburk, Daniel Funderburk, Joshua Funderburk, Zachary Johnson and Amy Honeycutt; and also, Pauline, Kathy, Barbara and Jeannie. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
