He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer David Black and Martha Measimer Black; his wife Linda Sue Linker Black; his son Bobby Black, II; and his sister Janice Black.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Black Honeycutt (Eddie); his brother Fred Black (Irene); his grandchildren, Heather Wensil Venrick (Austin), Taylor Honeycutt Gobble (Trent), Amanda Honeycutt (Rudy Claar) and Christina Black Page (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Luke Claar, Aston Claar, Isabella Venrick, Oliver Venrick, Corbin Gobble, Camden Gobble, Brayden, Rowan and Ezra Page.
