He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Luther Ketchie and Maie Hoffman Ketchie. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Cameron, Mackenzie Harvell, Jada Lyerly, Liyam, Shaya White and Orion; his wife Audrey Hoffman Ketchie; his sister Georgia McDaniel of Poquoson; his former wife Peggy Eller Ketchie; his son-in-law Melvin Harvell; and his grandson Benjamin White. He is also survived by children, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Building & Improvement Fund, 9275 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
