He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Clee Cassidy and Margie Sue Johnson Cassidy; his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Katie Cassidy; his granddaughter Miya Faith Cassidy; and his brothers, Ricky, Jimmy and Donnie Cassidy.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Cassidy (Misty Lea) of Ellerbe and Mack Cassidy (Terri) of Ellerbe; his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nemo, Mattie, Zack, Jackson, James, Kayli and Cole; and his siblings, Irene McKenize (Tommy) of Polkton, Maxine Smith of Kissee Mills, MO and Randy Cassidy of Rockingham.
