He is survived by: his wife Saundria Benton Hooper; his son Hakeem Hooper (Rachel); his stepson Chaz Hall (Loretta); his stepgrandchildren, Celeste Hall, Dejenerio Hall, Jessie Byrd, Natosha Bunpai, Nicholas Byrd, Dominique Amador and Elliana Byrd; his parents, Thomas L. Hooper, Sr. and Barbara Jean Tucker Hooper; his siblings, Valerie Burton (Michael) and Cortney Hooper (Hollye); his nephews, Orion Webster and Jace Hooper; his parents-in-law, Lottie Benton and Ervin Bumpas; his brother-in-law Rodney Bumpas; his aunts and uncles, Mildred Benton (Gene), Marie Slade (Theron), Lorenzo Hooper, Lorenzo Tucker and Evon Jackson; his godmother Mable Burnell; and his close friends, Michelle Crouch and Kerry Hammock. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
