She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Cox and Hazel Cox; her sister Phyllis King; her father-in-law Parker Bowman; and her sister-in-law Gladys Butler.
She is survived by: her husband James Bowman; her sisters, Marie Johnson (Ray) and Robin Martin (Joe); her mother-in-law Maie Bowman; her siblings-in-law, Roger King, Sam Butler and Darlene Bowman; and her daughter-in-law Jamie Polson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to Richmond County Hospice Haven at 1119 US 1 N, Rockingham, NC 28379.
