We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024, at the age of 81, Shirley Hudson of Rockingham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Garland Hudson and Alma Huggins Hudson. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Travis Kelly and Whitney Ducasse; her nieces and nephews, Tracy West, Faith Humphrey (Lee), Crystal Dawkins, Stacey McCormick and Sean McCormick (Meilani); her sisters, Joyce West and Mary McCormick (Buck); and her pet Maggie.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Richmond County Memorial Park (1717 E Broad Ave, Rockingham, NC 28379).
