He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Bethel Rankin and Robert Rankin; his son Wesley Rankin; and his brother Rufus Rankin. He is survived by: his siblings, Ida Garrett, Frances Apple and Leonard Rankin; his wife Marjorie Mc Cain Rankin; his children, Joan Rankin and Edward Wayne Rankin; and his close friends, Douglas Stockton, Sr. and Samuel Doggett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 1004 West Harrison Street.
