We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 92, Pansy Mae East of Rockingham, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nini Leazer and Dewey Leazer; her siblings, Jerry, Garland, Lenny and Lewis; and her husband Doak Clifton Hare Jr..
She is survived by: her pet Sissy; her children, Teresa Hare, Doak Hare III (Betty) and Tina Hare; her siblings, Essie Leazer and Bobby Leazer; her grandchildren, Ernest "BamBam" Polston (Tammy), Robert Lynn (Jessica), April Mahaffee (Justin), Brandon Arnette (Macy) and Jennifer Lindsay; her great grandchildren, Keith Polston, Sheridan Lynn, Drew Knoor of Hannah Nearing, AJ, Colson Mahaffee, Skylar Cox (Rhett) and Cayden Skipper; and her pets, Nugget "Nick-Nick" and Buddy Arnette.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Watson-King Funeral Home - Rockingham (306 E Franklin St, Rockingham, NC 28380). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
