She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walker and Hattie Leviner Smith; her husband Harmon Coward; and her siblings, Boyd, Hiram, Margaret, Ruth, Pearl, Lillian and Annie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alicia Harding (Jim), Aneva Conner (Scott), Adeana Elzey (Bob) and Angela Perkinson (David); her grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie), Jared (Meagan), Katelyn (Tyler), Austin, Dustin (Jill), Logan and Alayna (Ken); and her great grandchildren, Laila, Eli, Carsyn, Weston, Kirk and Jane.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (165 Airport Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
