Monique Sorot Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2023, at the age of 84, Monique Sorot Nelson of Rockingham, North Carolina, born in Paris, Ile de France passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Sorot and Madeleine Biscaldi Sorot; her husband David Glenn Nelson; her son-in-law C. B. Lawrence; and her great grandchild Lilly Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Ann Nelson of Reidsville, Patsy Lynn Nelson of Reidsville, Mary Lawrence of Summerfield, David Lee Nelson (Ammie Lyn) of Ararat, VA and Jerry Ray Nelson of Reidsville; and her brother Claude Sorot of Melbourne, FLA.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
