He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Leroy Whitt, Sr. and Zelia Neal Whitt; and his siblings, Roberta Whitt-Miller and Selma Whitt-Kimber. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Parker Whitt; his siblings, Walter Leroy Whitt, Jr. (Margaret) and Emma Whitt Herbin; his brother-in-law Ralph Slade (Clara); and his close friend Mary Harrison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God (600 McWalker Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
