She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Smith and Clara Parham Smith; her husband Marion B. Horton; her daughter Katherine Horton; and her brother Glenn Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Janis Hinson, Rebecca Curtis (Gregg), Michael Horton and Rachelle Horton; her grandchildren, Ryan Roller, Robert Johnson, Steven Johnson, Karrissa Sutton (Allen), Brittney Parrish, Kaley King (Gary) and Jenna Everett; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Cannon Braddock, Allyson King, Aubrey King, Waylon King, Gracie Everett, Colton Sutton and Willow Sutton.
