She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cribb and Ora Cribb; her children, Ronnie Pope and Lisa Pope Wright; her grandchildren, Rebecca Pope, Norman Jean Harding, Misty Shy, Macie Taylor and Shannon Patrick; and her siblings, Wesley Cribb, Buddy "Robert" Cribb, Inez McKnight, Mary Robertson, Elizabeth Stewart, Virginia Jones and Rosa Lee Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Pope of Rockingham, Sandra Deese of Rockingham, Cyntia Porter of Rockingham, Paige Pope of Rockingham and John B. Pope Jr. (Donna) of Little River, SC; her siblings, Sonny Cribb (Sharon) of Greensboro and Patsy Cribb Kluttz (George) of Salisbury, NC; her pet Callie Pope; and her close friends, Bim Boe Wilkes, Debbie Gant, Roxanne Keane, Jenny Reynolds and Elaine White. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Sweet Haven Church (234 Midway Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379).
