He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bell Sherrill Williams and Emanuel Burley Williams; his son Jerome Mills; and his brother Emanuel Williams, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Totten Williams; his children, Danielle Echols (Jeremy), Tyrone Mills (Kim), Kimberly Jackson (Paul), William Morton (Patricia) and Shonda Wilds (Charles); his sister Christine Chambers; his niece Tracy Forde (Alvin); his nephews, Jonathan Williams and Emanuel Williams, III; and his siblings, Kay and Jerome Smith. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
