As we bid adieu to Hazel Shaw's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Hazel Shaw has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Ellis Shaw; her daughter Cindy Wall; her great grandchild Christopher Monroe Hankins; and her brother William Mack Shaw. She is survived by: her daughter Martha T. Nelson; her grandson Robert "Bob" Nelson (Rhonda); her great grandchildren, Robert Nelson Jr. and Taylor Fahmy (Omar); and her great great grandchild Nurah Fahmy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rockingham (201 N Randolph St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
