She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Lewis and Georgia Lewis; her husband Edward Loftis; her siblings, Bobbie Jean Gibson, Charles Lewis and Fred Lewis; her grandchildren, Courtney Deese, Stephen Smith and Kenneth Smith; and her great grandchild Emma Grace Loftis.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Carroway (Ron) of Rockingham, Karen Richardson (Robin) of Hamlet and Rev. Jim Loftis (DeLaine) of Dallas, NC; her grandchildren, Jason Loftis (Emily), Crystal Richardson-Forrest, Ashley Loftis and Brian Loftis (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Ethan Deese, McKenzie Bayless, Kylee Deese, Chase Deese, Cameron Sedberry, Bethany Loftis, Jace Loftis, Baylee Loftis, Chanceton Forrest and Bryson Loftis; her great great grandchild Emory Deese; and her sister Grace Martin of Arcadia, Florida..
