She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth "Betsy" Query McNair and Alfred Baldwin McNair; and her husband William Eric Freeman. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill McNair and Susie McNair Burgess (Mike); her niece Rebecca Burgess; her nephew John Burgess (Jessie); and her great-niece Josie of Hamlet. She is also survived by cousins and their extended families.
